An Indian spy working for Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was recently arrested in Balochistan. The arrest once again proves the Indian spy agency’s subversive activity in Pakistan, which is now an open secret.
The arrested Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav was involved in subversive and terror related activities in Balochistan as well as Karachi. Yadav is said to be originally from Indian Navy, where he served as a commissioned officer. In Pakistan, he operated under fake identities and was alleged to have been working with separatist and sectarian organisations. The Pakistan government has long accused the Indian intelligence agency RAW of sponsoring terrorism in Karachi, Fata and Balochistan. Moreover, the government on many occasions has given India proof’s of the subversive activities of RAW in Pakistan.
Despite the good intentions of Pakistan for peace in region, the response from the Indian side has always been negative, malafide and accusatory. It is pertinent to mention here that at a corps commanders meeting in May last year, the top military leadership had unprecedentedly pointed fingers directly at RAW for “whipping up terrorism in Pakistan”. Indian intervention in stirring up violence in Karachi is also a well known fact.
It is high time that the Government takes a principle stance on Indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan; the world community must also take notice of Indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan. Pakistan’s utmost efforts of peace in the region should not be taken as a weakness, our intelligence agencies and armed forced are fully capable of thwarting any threat to the country. India must be held accountable for stoking and abetting subversive activities and interfering in Pakistan’s internal affairs.
India has been stoking and abetting subversive activities in Pakistan for long.
