One terrorist killed, three arrested in Dera Bugti

Body recovered in Chaman, four terrorist suspects rounded up with arms in Sibbi

QUETTA: One terrorist was killed and three were arrested after exchange of fire with Frontier Corps (FC) on Sunday. An unidentified body was recovered from Chaman while four terrorists were arrested along with arms in Sibbi.

IG FC Major General Sher Afgan said that the paramilitary troops conducted search operation against the miscreants in Sui area of Dera Bugti. During operation terrorists hiding in the area started firing at FC personnel which led to a fire exchange.

In cross firing one terrorist of a banned outfit was killed while three of his accomplices were nabbed and huge cache of arms was recovered from their possession.

Maj Gen Sher Afgan said that no leniency will be shown for the terrorists involved in creating law and order situation in the province.

Meanwhile four more terrorists belonging to banned organizations were detained from Sibbi during separate search operations while arms were recovered from their possession. The detained terrorists were shifted to undisclosed destination for further interrogation.

Bullet riddled body of an unidentified person was recovered in Chaman. The body was shifted to hospital for identification and medico-legal formalities.
