ISLAMABAD, Aug 22 (INP): A large number of terrorists intruded into Pakistani territory from Afghanistan on Friday, with ensuing clashes killing at least one Pakistani soldier, military sources said.
Pakistani troops engaged about 70 to 80 militants as they intruded into the Muslim Bagh area in Balochistan, the sources said.
A soldier with the Frontier Corps (FC) was killed in the clash, they said. The deceased official was identified as Naik Niaz while military sources claimed to force back the attackers via rapid retaliation.
