ISLAMABAD:

PTI had displayed flexibility by supporting the establishment of military courts despite serious reservations on the work of government and now the matter is of serious nature that requisite severe attention while selection of cases to be referred to military courts, collection of evidences and witness statement all need great attention. This was said by Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Pervez Rasheed in his interview on programme Sacchi Baat with Sardar Khan Niazi on Rooz TV here on Monday.

On a question about trial of Pervaiz Musharaf he said that the matter of Musharaf is in the Court and now Court will decide what to do according to the law. He said the incident of 12 October was darkest in the history of Pakistan. ‘We do not want to control media but media persons should play their part and national interest should be separated from critism while practicing their duties” he added. He said PEMRA has taken actions against those media outlets who have broadcast content against the national norms. Pakistan Army has played a great role in securing the constitution that will be remembered for long times. The predictions of Sardar Khan Niazi regarding government have proved true as the government of PML (N) is still in function. He said we are now providing petrol on lesser price than many countries and planning to import LNG before 30 March this year. He said that Sardar Khan Niazi is a brave journalist who has strong insight on current affairs. He said the future of Pakistan is bright and we are committed to provide better future to our children.
