LAHORE, Nov 23 (INP): PTI is bound to become the victim of law of sustainability after November 30 because it cannot maintain the momentum of mobilization for so long adding also there is no chance of the removal of the present government through their sit-ins, said Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo in a statement issued here Sunday.
He said that the climax of the tsunami will be over sooner than later and the present tempo would suffer because it could not be continued for an indefinite period. It is natural that the PTI’s popularity will start receding and time will prove it right, he predicted.
He said that the meeting of PTI in Larkana recently would not make any difference there in the province of Sindh as the support base of the PPP was intact despite the claims of the opponents.
He maintained that Imran Khan would sink in isolationism because he had been undermining the politicians of all spectrums of the country adding his spat of criticism of media would cut ground from underneath his feet.
Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo urged the government to engage the PTI in negotiations and seek out settlement on the basis of give and take on the demand of investigation of the election rigging through the Supreme Court’s Judicial Commission.
Their, PML(N) and PTI’s, stubbornness has cost dearly to the country because the country’s image had taken the nosedive in the international community and the economy of the country had also been affected badly, he observed.
Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo said that the PPP was against the removal of the government through the politics of intimidation and coercion because the constitution did not allow such bellicose. Rules of succession have been clearly defined in the constitution, he pointed out.
He said that the PPP was standing with democracy and would not support the policies of the present government which were against the interest of the poor masses. PPP represents the down trodden and therefore will protect and promote their rights under all circumstances, he reiterated.
He made it clear that the PPP was for democracy and determined to play the role of an effective opposition now since the dangers to democracy were over.
