Nisar directs to further tighten twin cities security

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has directed the administration to tighten the security in Islamabad. He has also ordered the security agencies not to allow anyone to create a law and order situation in the city. The Interior Minister directed the administration to remove the containers from entrance routes of Islamabad.
Chaudhry Nisar visited Zero Point and Red Zone earlier today (Thursday) to examine the security arrangement along with senior police and administration officials.
Interior Minister was given a detailed briefing on security arrangements on this occasion.
The officials told the Interior Minister that CCTV cameras were installed at 40 different places in Islamabad. Police has established control-rooms from where the ‘Azadi March’ and ‘Revolution March’ will be monitored.
On this occasion, Chaudhry Nisar ordered to tighten the security in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Interior Minister has been monitoring the security situation in the federal capital after allowing the long march to enter Islamabad. Chaudhry Nisar will also do aerial inspection of the security arrangements. He has said that nobody will be allowed to take the law into their hands. Agencies
