ISLAMABAD: Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) organized a puppet show on Quaid’s messages in connection with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’ birth anniversary celebrations.
The National Puppet Theater (NPT) showcased, presenting various colorful educational story’s , patriotic songs, folk dances and highlighted the struggle of Quaid for the creation of Pakistan. The puppets encouraged the young ones to be more proactive and to strive with honesty and integrity. The students of various schools appreciated the puppet show, saying that all the performances of Puppet show were informative and glowing tribute to our Quaid.
Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Ms. Maryam Aurangzeb was the chief guest of the event who in her speech stressed the need to educate youth and children with Quaid’s life and his struggle for Pakistan.
The new generations need to know the struggle of Quaid and his comrades for the liberation of the Muslims of sub-continent, she added. Week long Quaid’s birth day celebrations will conclude on December 25, 2016 at the Liaquat Gymnasium, Sports Complex, and Islamabad where performance by the winners and distribution of shields to the winners of all competitions held during the week of ‘Quaid Ka Pakistan.
