KARACHI: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Thursday approved Rs 0.39 per unit increase in K-Electric tariff.
A hearing regarding raising electricity prices was conducted by Nepra in which, K-Electric suggested increasing the price by Rs 0.45/ unit but the authorities refused and agreed on Rs 0.39 increase.
The price hike was recommended under the fuel adjustment of June month.
It was also decided that the order would be implemented from month of September.
