LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said the government is ready to consider the PTI demands to resolve the current situation.
Talking to a private TV channel, he asked the PTI chairman Imran Khan to come to the negotiating table in the larger national interest. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is ready to meet Imran Khan. He lamented that Imran Khan joined hands with Tahirul Qadri for a so-called revolution to create anarchy in the country.
He said there is no justification for long march and sit-ins at a time when the armed forces are fighting against terrorists to restore peace in the country. INP
