LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday met his British counterpart David Cameroon and discussed key issues including Imran Farooq murder case.
According to details, the meeting between premiers of both countries continued for at least 40 minutes in which bilateral relations, global affairs and other important issues were discussed in details.
As per sources, both leaders discussed the agreement of exchange of prisoners in details. The sources said that it was agreed in the meeting that the murderers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) slain leader Imran Farooq will be brought to justice.
Reportedly, British Prime Minister lauded Pakistan over cooperation in Imran Farooq murder case and Pakistan’s role in the ongoing war against terrorism.
The sources added that PM Nawaz also raised the issue of Indian intelligence agency RAW’s involvement in unrest in Pakistan.
PM’s adviser Tariq Fatmi and Pakistani High Commissioner Syed Ibn-e-Abbas was also present in the meeting.
