KARACHI: Chairman of the Senate Mian Raza Rabbani has said the entire nation was standing shoulder to shoulder with the army in fight against terrorism and warned that if we failed history would not pardon us.
Talking to media persons after visiting the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam, where he laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha Sunday, the Senate Chairman said the country is passing through very difficult times. He said the political parties are standing with the army in war against terrorism. He emphasised the need for unity among all the political forces for success against terrorism.
To a question, the Senate Chairman said the federation and the provinces were not fully implementing the 18th amendmentin the constitution. He said he had opposed the 21st amendment but his role would be neutral if 22nd amendment was introduced.
He said he would do his level best to come up to the expectations of the people.
