ISLAMABAD: H.E. Mr. Burhan Muhammad, Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan, who was critcally injured in the tragic Naltar helicopter crash passed away early Tuesday in Singapore.
He was initially treated at Army Burns Centre, Kharian, and then at the request of the Indonesian Government was evacuated to Singapore on an Air Ambulance on 11 May 2015 for further treatment.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, the foreign office extended heartfelt condolences to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the bereaved family of the late Ambassador.
The Government of Pakistan has nominated its High Commissioner in Singapore to travel with the body of the late Ambassador to his hometown in Indonesia.
