ISLAMABAD: Haji Ghulam Ali, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, spoke on the programme “Sachi Baat.” He stated, “Mr. Niazi (SK Niazi), I welcome you to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, We have a very old and brotherly relationship with you; and your channel and newspapers have played an important role in the improvement of the economy and political situation. Your comments are always positive; you never make accusations but always speak with facts, and I appreciate that.
He further stated, “Our country is currently facing many problems; the country is facing political chaos at the moment; the economy is badly affected; establishing peace and order is the responsibility of every individual and political party.” “As a Pakistani, we should all do our part for the betterment of the country.” “I am sitting on a constitutional post and am a federal representative.
In response to a question, the Governor stated, “As a political activist, I consider it my duty to be the solution to this province’s problems; we should all work together for the people’s and the province’s problems.” The parties sitting in the province and the federal government should not leave the ground of morals, values, and decency.
In his talks, he also shed light on the fact that “before, there was never so much political tension between the province and the center; in our era too; there was a problem with Akram Khan Durrani.” He united all the opposition parties and formed a National Jirga. To solve the country’s problems, it is necessary to solve them all in one sitting.
He said, “I am a political activist and have been struggling for 40 years; Imran Khan says I have been struggling for 26 years; I have been elected for the last 40 years; I am being re-elected; all political parties should not create such distance that we cannot sit together; sitting for the resolution of the issue is the tradition of this province.” We don’t even allow a child to break a cup in our house. I ask the youth a question: “Millions of rupees were spent in Pakistani by-elections,” and I have recommended many people at my level. This is the twenty-first century; this is the century of trade, education, and technology. In this century, our youth understand what should be done.
They should take a decision after reviewing the situation. There are no employment opportunities in the whole country. Our educational institutions in KP have deteriorated; I have never engaged in accusation politics in my life, and may Allah forbid me from engaging in such politics in the future.
He further said, “A solution to the problem can be found only through dialogue.” My opinion as a political activist is that the PTI should sit in the National Assembly; they are already sitting in the province. They should be pushed to implement election reforms. Yesterday, I read Fawad’s statement, in which he stated that if elections are held in May and June, we will be ready. Elections may be delayed by two months, but reforms are very important.
He further added, “Students should not go out after taking degrees and looking for jobs, but prefer business; it is the duty of the government to create employment opportunities in various sectors, we have to bury false politics, emotional slogans, today, a matriculation student has the whole world in his hands.
I want to appeal to youth through your channel. Political parties work according to the constitution and the manifesto, Didn’t PTI promise to bring the world’s best local government system? This was done by none other than Chairman PTI, the best local government system, and it will not hold elections. He concluded that the Supreme Court conducted the local government election on its own.
