Musical concert held at RAC

RAWALPINDI (DNA) –Rawalpindi Arts Council continues to celebrate 68th Independence Day of Pakistan .  In this regard, a musical concert was arranged by the Council in collaboration with International Lions Club, Islamabad in which the singers paid rich tribute to motherland thorough songs.

Member Punjab Assembly Raheela Munawar accompanied by Naheed Manzoor, Resident Director RAC WaqaR Ahmed and President Lions Club Sabtain Raza Lodhi.

The singers Syed Farhat, Sohail, Shahzad, Saher, Rizwana Khan, Husnain, Mohsin Pasha, Hania Shah, Quratul Ain, Hamid Shahzad, Saghir Khan, Umer Marwat and others songs milli songs. A cake was also cut at the end of the ceremony.

Member Punjab Assembly Raheela Munawar addressing at the occasion said that struggle for development of the country is as necessary as done at the time of creation of Pakistan.

Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed announced that a drama “Pechan Humari Pakistan” will be held on 28th August while Sufi Night by Babar Niazi and Javed Niazi will be held on 30th August.
