SALMAN TANVIR ISLAMABAD The Interior Ministry has devised a new security plan for the federal capital for the holy month of Muharramul Harram and the ongoing sit-ins by the PTI and PAT. According to details, 4000 additional policemen hailing from different parts of Punjab have been asked to report back to their respective police stations, departments. These cops were deployed in the federal capital for security reasons during the sit-ins of PTI and PAT. Sources told that IG Punjab Police has called back 4,000 police officers from Islamabad to their respective areas for providing security to the citizens during the holy month of Muharramul Harram. Additional police contingents from across the country were called in Islamabad by the interior ministry for protecting government, public properties as well providing security to the leaders, activists of PTI and PAT during the sit-ins. It is being expected that policemen hailing from various parts of the country are also be sent back to their hometowns for security purpose.
