KARACHI: Veteran MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar today challenged Mustafa Kamal to contest by-election from the National Assembly seat vacated by Rehan Hashmi.
Rehan Hashmi had quit his National Assembly’s seat after being elected as Chairman of a Union Council in Karachi in the local government elections.
“Mustafa Kamal should compete with us on the electoral front,” he said.
The MQM leader also urged Dr Sagheer Ahmed to contest by-election from PS-115 to see his worth after leaving the party.
His statement came after Dr Sagheer Ahmed decided to part ways with the MQM and join Mustafa Kamal’s party. NNI
