MUZAFFARGARH: A motorcycle lifter was killed in exchange of fire with police here on Friday.
District Police Officer (DPO) Awais Ahmed said that the police approached a motorcycle lifter gang which was fleeing after snatching a motorcycle in Alipur ara of Muzaffargarh.
Upon sight of police, the culprits started firing which led to an encounter in which one accused was killed while his other cohorts managed to escape.
The police recovered arms from the possession of culprit killed in fire exchange and his body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
