PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that uniform development across the province is our responsibility and most of the development funds of the new financial year will be allocated for the completion of ongoing projects.

In the last meeting of the consultation on the preparation of the Annual Development Program chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, a long consultation was held on the proposed projects of Mardan Division to be included in the new Annual Development Program.

Members of the National and Provincial Assembly from Mardan Division attended the meeting and presented suggestions related to new development projects in their respective constituencies. The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects of Mardan Division departmentally.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the new Annual Development Program of the provincial government will be a visionary program that will provide a solid foundation and roadmap for the next four-year Annual Development Program.

He said that the next annual development program will be prepared in the light of the suggestions of the elected public representatives, keeping in mind the public needs of the constituencies, new projects will be included in the annual development program and concrete and feasible projects of broad public interest will be included in the annual development program.

The Chief Minister said that most of the development funds of the next financial year will be allocated for the completion of ongoing development projects, while ongoing projects with 80 percent or more progress will be completed next year, of which more or less 50 percent of the ongoing development projects will be completed and removed from the ADP.

Describing the equal development of all areas of the province as his priority and responsibility, he said that as the Chief Minister, every constituency of the province is his constituency and all constituencies will be given a share in development projects based on population, backwardness of the area and public needs and there will be no injustice to any area in this regard.
