LAHORE – National Test cricket team’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq has signed an agreement with Caribbean Premier League 2015, replacing Shoaib Malik for Barbados Tridents, reported on Tuesday.
As per details, the substitution has been made due to the possibility of Shoaib Malik to swing in one-day international (ODI) against Sri Lanka. Malik, who scored 127 runs in four matches this season, will play his last game on July 3 against St. Lucia Zouks.
Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq would depart for West Indies to play CPL despite coming to Pakistan. Moreover, the star player will play the series from July 11.
