Pakistan are currently playing the first of two-Test series against New Zealand, and the series opener was Misbah-ul-Haq’s 50th as Test captain. He is Pakistan’s most capped Test skipper, surpassing legendary Imran Khan previously during the series against the West Indies in UAE.
Under Misbah’s captaincy, Pakistan achieved the number-one Test ranking for the first time since the current rankings system was introduced in 2003.
