ISLAMABAD: Interior Ministry has sent a report to Prime Minister’s office regarding expulsion of Zulfi Bukhari’s name from ECL.

The Ministry has said in its report that Zulfi Bukhari’s name was not included in the list. His name was added on the request of NAB.

Earlier, caretaker Prime Minister Justice retired Nasirul Mulk on Wednesday sought report of excluding the name of Zulfi Bukhari, the close aide of PTI Chief Imran Khan from Exit Control List (ECL).

Zulfi Bukhari a close friend of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf chairman Imran Khan had departed KSA to perform Umrah as his name was excluded from exit control list (ECL) on June 11.The Interior Ministry, in a notification issued on Monday, ordered the immigration authorities to “grant one-time permission to Bukhari for a period of 06 days” to perform Umrah, after he was stopped from travelling to Saudi Arabia along with party chairman Imran Khan.

Earlier on June 11, On June Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)  stopped London based Businessman Zulfi Bukhari from Flying to Saudi Arabia from Rawalpindi via a charter flight along with Imran and his wife Bushra Maneka to perform Umrah, as his name was on the Exit Control List (ECL). INP
