Military courts to start functioning in few days: Pervaiz Rasheed

LAHORE, Jan 11 (INP): Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National

Heritage (IB&NH) Senator Pervaiz Rasheed has said that nine military courts have been formed and would start functioning in next few days.

In an interview here on Sunday, Pervaiz Rasheed said that military courts would try the terrorists to punish them for their acts against Pakistan.

He said that the 16th December, blood of martyrs remind that we should remember their sacrifices for the motherland.

He said educational institutions across the country would reopen from Monday(tomorrow) and provincial governments and educations institutions have made fool proof security arrangements for them.

 

He said that we would not allow terrorists to attack our future. In this connection the state, government institutions and the nation are on one page.

In a reply to a question, the Information Minister said the ice has melted after meeting between Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Punjab Chief Minister, Mian Shahbaz Sharif. He said it would be endeavor of the government that there was no complain or difficulty to the JUI-F chief in actions against terrorists.

He emphasized that Pakistan was passing through a difficult phase and they all have to confront the challenges collectively.

He said the US secretary of state John Kerry would reach Pakistan tomorrow and both sides will exchange views on Pak-Afghan relations and tension on Pak-India borders.
