ISLAMABAD: A mild earthquake on Wednesday jolted Peshawar, federal capital and others areas, triggering panic among the residents.
According to the Met Office, the quake was recorded at 5.2 magnitude on the Richter Scale with epicenter in Hindu Kush Region of Afghanistan, with a depth of 309 kilometers.
Panicked people rushed outside their houses and offices buildings reciting verses from the Holy Quran.
