ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted more rains for the country.
Meteorological Department has said that scattered rain-thundershower is expected in Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Bahawalpur, Multan, D.G Khan, Sahiwal, D.I Khan, Faisalabad, Zhob, Sibbi, Nasirbad, Kalat, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Kohat, Lahore, Sarghodha, Gujranwala, FATA, Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltisttan. Isolated heavy falls is expected in Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Multan, and D.G khan divisions in the next 48 hours.
The weather department also stated that in the past 24 hours, widespread rain-thundershower (with scattered heavy fall) occurred in Sindh (Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Karachi, Larkana divisions), Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, D.G khan divisions was witnessed while scattered rain-thundershower took place in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar Kohat, D.I khan divisions and Makran divisions.
PMD stated that Nagarparkar received the highest rainfall with 190 millimeter followed by Islamkot 113 mm, Badin 47 mm, Mirpur Khas and Mithi 38 mm, Parachinar 32 mm, Dadu 28 mm, Dir 25 mm, Cherat and Chachoro 22 mm, Joharabad 21 mm, Jacobabad 18 mm, Karachi and Hyderabad(A/P) 15 mm, Thatta 10 mm, Bahawalpur City and Barkhan 08 mm, Garhi Dupatta and Murree 07 mm, Malamjaba, D.G.Khan, Hunza, Mangla, Sukkur, Chakwal and Moen-jo-Daro 04 mm, Kalam and Rohri 03 mm, Hyderabad (City), Bahawalpur A/P, Kohat and Larkana 02 mm, Faisal (Base), Sadar, Gupis, Islamabad Z.P, Kotli, Mandibahauddin, Rawalpindi, Shaheed Benazirabad, Chitral, Khanpur and Rawalakot 01 mm.
