Menace of terrorism exterminated due to efforts of PM, Armed Forces: Irfan Siddiqui

The menace of terrorism has been exterminated from the country and the image of peaceful Pakistan has once again emerged at international stage due to the efforts of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the country’s Armed forces, this was stated by Irfan Siddiqui,  Special Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage, during his visit to the office of Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Roze News on Sunday. Upon arrival he was received by Sardar Khan Niazi, Editor in Chief of Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News.

After his meeting with Sardar Khan Niazi, Irfan Siddiqui while speaking to Daily The Patriot said that during the tenure of the previous governments, terrorism increased to an extent that the name of Islam and Pakistan was being tarnished as a result. He added that after assuming power Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif formulated a thorough policy to counter terrorism and vowed to exterminate terrorism from the country.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister added that it was due to these efforts that today the country is almost free from the menace of terrorism. He added that the credit of getting rid of menace of terrorism goes to not only Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif but also to the country’s Armed Forced who have laid great sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

Responding to a question Irfan Siddiqui said that to preserve the cultural heritage of the country the government for the first time is taking concrete steps and a big announcement will soon be made in this regard.
