RAWALPINDI: In continuity with the religious and spiritual culture of the university Mehfil-e- Milad has arranged within the campus to pay tribute to Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir, eminent personalities, the Chairpersons, Faculty members and huge congregation of students gathered with zeal and fervor to attend the mehfil-e-milad.

On the auspicious occasion, scholars shed light on different aspects of holy life and teaching of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH). They said that by following the footsteps of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and teachings of Holy Quran we can be successful in this life and the life hereafter. We can make this world as a symbol of peace by acting upon the teachings of Islam and the entire life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is a beacon of light for Muslim Ummah. A group of participants gave a comprehensive Bayan on “Tolerance and Understanding”. We could overcome all the predicaments that confront us as a nation today, by steadfastly following the teachings of Holy Quran and Holy Prophet (PBUH). The participants offered Durud-o-Salam to the Holy Prophet after every Naat that was recited on the occasion. Melodious voices of the students held the hall spell bound and made the mehfil more spiritual and a source of inspiration.

The soulful Mehfil-e-Milad ended with Darood o Salam and Dua. Every one present at the Milad raised their hands in front of Allah Almighty to bring peace, progress and prosperity to this country and entire Muslim Ummah, and bestow his blessings on Pakistani nation.
