Lahore: In the case related to May 9, the court declared 8 absconding PTI leaders including Murad Saeed, Hammad Azhar as absconders.
According to Express News, 8 absconding PTI leaders including Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar and Murad Saeed were declared absconders in the case of burning a container at Kalma Chowk on May 9.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed also declared Zubair Khan Niazi, Hamid Raza Gilani, Muhammad Javed, Abdul Samad, Wasiq Qayyum as absconders in the case.
The court also issued permanent arrest warrants for PTI leaders.
The Anti-Terrorism Court took action on the police’s request in the Naseerabad police station case. The police had taken the stand in the application that the accused had gone into hiding due to fear of arrest. Arrest warrants were also issued but they could not be arrested.
