The Legend of Maula Jatt appears to have increased the bar for Pakistani movies.
Moviegoers who attended a private screening of the Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi debut praised the film for its suspenseful plot and powerful performances.
One lauded Fawad’s Maula, saying “You will see a Fawad Khan like never before.” Another person added: “The audience will undoubtedly be affected by the performances, the craft, and the direction.”
Another said, referring to Humaima Malick’s portrayal of Daro, “His amazing portrayal of Daro will sweep you off your feet.”
A fan predicted that the film’s box office earnings will exceed Rs 200 crore.
On October 13, Maula Jatt will be released internationally.
