Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Tuesday said that the mastermind of Badaber attack has been traced back to Afghanistan while 9 out of 14 attackers could not be identified.

In a statement, federal minister said that the place where terrorists stayed has also been identified. He said Pakistan neither fears nor is answerable to Afghanistan.

He said the mastermind belongs to Afghanistan and a manhunt is ongoing. He confirmed the number of terrorists killed is 14 and not 13, adding that 9 of the attackers remain unidentified.

Chaudhry Nisar reiterated that the evidences that the culprit is in Afghanistan will be provided to the Afghan officials, adding that “our side is under control, the attacker is across the border”.

He said Pakistan is blamed even if someone sneezes there, adding that Pakistan desires to express tolerance instead of leveling allegations on others.

“We don’t owe Afghanistan anything, are neither scared nor answerable to it”, he said.

The federal minister said that operation in Afghanistan can take place from Pakistan but it will further strain relations between both countries.Agencies
