Maryam Nawaz vacates NA-119 seat, retains PP-159

Maryam Nawaz has vacated the seat of National Assembly Constituency NA-119. However, she retains the seat of PP-159.
Maryam Nawaz won the election from NA 119 and PP 159 from Lahore. He sent a letter of withdrawal from NA 119 to the Election Commission. ECP will hold by-elections on this seat.
Before the meeting of the Punjab Assembly, a meeting of the Muslim League (N) Punjab Parliamentary Party was held which was chaired by Maryam Nawaz.
Earlier, the Muslim League (N) had directed other senior leaders besides Maryam Nawaz to vacate the provincial seats.
 Shehbaz Sharif will leave the provincial seats of Kasur and Lahore and Hamza Shehbaz will leave Lahore. He said that Sardar Ghulam Abbas Chakwal and Rana Tanveer will leave the provincial seat of Sheikhupura. He said that Ahsan Iqbal will leave Narowal's seat.
