Marriyum Aurangzeb: Kenya sends Arshad Sharif’s body to Pakistan

Minister of Federal Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb announced that Pakistan has received the body of veteran investigative journalist Arshad Sharif.Legal procedures were accelerated as a result of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s talk with the President of Kenya.

The minister claimed that as Sharif’s body was being transported to Pakistan, Pakistani High Commissioner Saqlain Syeda personally saw the procedure for several hours. The PML-N leader claimed that she remained at the Nairobi airport for a number of hours until the body was flown to Pakistan.

At 3:25 PST, flight QR1342, carrying Arshad Sharif’s casket, departed from Nairobi. Qatar will be the destination of the flight’s layover, according to reports. According to sources, the aircraft QR0632, which took off from Doha at 22:35 PST tonight, would touch down at the airport in Islamabad around 1 am on Wednesday.

Arshad Sharif’s body, according to the information minister, was delivered to Islamabad following the conclusion of the legal procedures. Marriyum Aurangzeb had previously stated that Arshad’s postmortem was finished. “The legal paperwork is being prepared by the Pakistani embassy in Kenya.

According to the Kenyan police, Arshad Sharif died
