ISLAMABAD: PPP Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has said that Operation against the terrorists and banned organizations should be started in Punjab at earliest as everyone knows that Punjab has become a hatchery of terrorists and their facilitators, where they are being funded and provided safe shelters.
In a statement issued from his office, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has asked the federal government and Law Enforcement agencies that Rangers Operation should not be only limited to one city-Karachi and one province-Sindh. This perception of Rangers operation should be removed for the national interest of Pakistan.
Senator Saleem Mnadviwalla has said that all the political parties have demanded to start operation against the terrorists across the board but it has been confined to only Karachi, which is unfortunate. This is promoting a sense of discrimination among the people of Karachi and Sindh which would be alarming.
Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has said that Rangers issue was not at the agenda of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Visit to Karachi; PM came to inaugurate a power plant. Chief Minister of Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has received the PM at airport despite his ill-health. PM has not bothered to appreciate the efforts of Karachi Operation Captain, which is unfortunate.
Senator Saleem Mandviwalla has also criticized the government policy and said that the present government is losing its credibility with every passing day; it is continuously lying to the parliament on important national issues like LNG, Euro Bonds, and PIA and Steel Mills privatization. This government cannot be relied more. NNI
