Islamabad: On the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim will pay an official visit to Pakistan from tomorrow to October 4.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister of Malaysia will come with a high-level delegation consisting of ministers, deputy ministers and senior officials. There will be a meeting between Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
The two leaders will discuss various areas including trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture industry, tourism, cultural exchange and people-to-people contacts to further strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia and will also discuss regional and global issues.
According to the spokesperson, Pakistan and Malaysia have strong bilateral relations, the two countries are linked in history, culture and faith. The spokesperson said that the visit provides an important opportunity to further strengthen the relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia.
