Malakand and Swat are shaken by mild earthquake

Swat, Malakand, and nearby districts in northern Pakistan were shaken on Tuesday by a mild earthquake.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad estimates the earthquake’s Richter scale magnitude to be four.

The earthquake was 125 km deep. The region between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan’s borders served as its epicenter.

No recorded loss of life or property has yet to occur.

Qatar defeated Pakistan in a thrilling match in the quarter finals of volleyball at the ongoing Asian Games in China. World No. 51 Pakistan faced World No. 17 Qatar in the Asian Games volleyball quarterfinals. Pakistan played a brilliant game against Qatar from the first set.
