LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday rejected a plea demanding to sack Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan.

During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel Pir Ali Gilani maintained that PCB chairman failed to make Pakistan-India series happen and according to the law any administrator who adversely affects the institution should be sacked. The Chairman inflicted loss of around Rs 5 billion, he added.

However, the court stated that the petitioner is not the affectee in the case. The petition was rejected on the said basis.
