SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said the law and order situation in the country is now better.
Talking to newsmen in Sukkur Sunday, he said that Pakistan’s commitment to eliminate terrorism remains undeterred.
He said that Pakistan has rendered numerous sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He said the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation is a clear manifestation of our nation’s resolve to root out terrorism in all of its forms and manifestations.
He said that political leadership, Parliament and State institutions are fully united to weed out terrorism.
He expressed the hope after Zimbabwe, sports teams from other countries will also visit Pakistan.
In response to a question about former Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza, he said, politicians should not resort to indecent language and behaviour.
Talking about the Axact scam, he said it would be wrong to jump to any conclusion without any inquiry. NNI
