KARACHI: Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik Baloch says law and order situation has improved in Balochistan and overall crime rate decreased by 40 percent.
Addressing a seminar in Karachi, he said that police is working without any political pressure and all appointments and transfers in the province are being made on merit.
The Chief Minister said we are making efforts to eliminate poverty and illiteracy in Balochistan.
About District Gwadar, he said Pak-China Economic Corridor is going to be constructed in the country due to Gwadar, therefore first priority would be given to the people of the district in development process. NNI
