IGP pins badges to two promoted police officers

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur rehman on Thursday pinned the badges of Superintendent of Police (SP) rank to the two officials promoted in BS-18.

A ceremony was held at Central Police Office here and IGP formally pinned badges to the two newly promoted SPs including Tahir Khan, Muhammad Auqab. These officers have been promoted from rank of DSP to SP and the IGP congratulated these police officials and hoped for their best contribution towards effective policing.He also made a group photo with newly promoted police officials.

DSP Tahir Khan and Muhammad Auqaab joined Islamabad Police as Assistant Sub-Inspector and after completing their  departmental courses with hard work and dedication now they gradually reached the rank of SPs. Muhammad Auqab posted at parliament house and Tahir khan posted as PSO to IGP Islamabad, before this both officers performed their official duties in different divisions of Islamabad Police. Tahir Khan also served as Principal Police Training School Islamabad.
