Lahore: Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators to become the winners of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.

In the final of Pakistan Super League Season 10 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the Gladiators captain won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 201 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Gladiators’ Mohammad Nawaz batted brilliantly and scored 76 runs off 43 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 8 fours and was a prominent batsman.

Lahore Qalandars achieved the target for the loss of 4 wickets on the fifth ball of the last over and won the title.

Saud Shakeel and Finn opened the batting for Quetta Gladiators, but Saud Shakeel was dismissed by Shaheen Afridi for just four runs on a total score of 17, then Salman Mirza dismissed Allen for an individual score of 12.

Then Riley Russo was caught by Sikandar Raza on an individual score of 22 and went to the pavilion on a total score of 58. Then Shaheen Afridi sent Avishka Fernando to the pavilion on an individual score of 29 and a total score of 125.

Meanwhile, Hassan Nawaz continued his brilliant batting and completed his half-century off 27 balls. Then in the 18th over, Hassan Nawaz scored 76 runs off the bowling of Shaheen Afridi and returned to the pavilion on a total score of 172.

Newcomers Mohammad Amir and Abrar Ahmed went to the pavilion on 177 without scoring any runs. Both were dismissed by Haris Rauf. Then Faheem Ashraf was dismissed on the last ball of the last over of the innings for a total score of 201.

For Lahore Qalandars, captain Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3, Salman Mirza, Haris Rauf took 2, 2, and Sikandar Raza, Rashid Hussain took one wicket each.

Chasing the Gladiators’ target of 202, Qalandars’ innings was started very cautiously by Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Naeem. Abrar Ahmed troubled Fakhar Zaman with his spinning balls at a total score of 39 before being dismissed LBW for 11 runs and sent to the pavilion.

Then Faheem Ashraf dismissed Mohammad Naeem for an individual score of 47 and a total score of 85. He played the fastest innings off 27 balls with the help of 6 sixes and a four.

Usama Tariq was sent to the pavilion with an individual score of 41 and a total score of 115. Thus, Qalandars had to face their third loss. Then Muhammad Amir made Rajapaksa a victim.

The position was in favor of Quetta Gladiators until the 18th over of the innings, however, Muhammad Amir gave away the match by giving away 18 runs in one over and Qalandars consolidated their position.

Faheem Ashraf bowled the 19th over of the innings in which Sikandar Raza hit a six and a four and further consolidated the position in the match.

Lahore Qalandars’ Kushal Perera remained unbeaten on 62 runs while Sikandar Raza played a match-winning innings of 22 runs off 7 balls. Amir, Faheem, Abrar and Usama took one wicket each for Gladiators.
