LAHORE: As many as two laboureres got killed whereas two sustained severe injuries when a crane working for the Metro Train Project in Lahore collided with 11000 KV wires on Sunday.

According to details, the incident occurred near Thokar Niaz Baig area where construction work for the Metro Train Project is underway.

The crane bumped into the wires as a result of which the labourers died on the spot due to electrocution.

Both the deceased Muneer and Afzal belonged to Narrowal whereas the two wounded laboureres were shifted to Jinnah hospital for medical assistance.

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif while expressing grief and sorrow over the deaths have directed to provide every possible medical aid to the injured.

Moreover, he has also ordered an investigation to determine the causes of the accident. NNI
