PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly adopted a resolution on Monday, condemning MQM head Altaf Hussain for his disparaging remarks against armed forces.
Senior Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister Inayatullah tabled the resolution, which was approved by the house.
The resolution called for registration of case against Altaf Hussain under high treason.
It said that Altaf Hussain used abusive and derogatory remarks against national security institutions.
On Sunday, Balochistan Assembly unanimously passed a resolution, calling for treason case against Altaf Hussain.
Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) also moved separate resolutions in the Punjab Assembly. NNI
