ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has asked the government to accept the demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The PPP leader also asked the PTI to change the sequence of its demands in the list, saying that the resignation of the PM should be placed on fifth or sixth number.

A session of opposition parties and government allies was held under the chairmanship of Khursheed Shah on Thursday. The session was also attended by members of Pakistan Bar Council.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Khursheed Shah said the government should accept the demands of Imran Khan.

He said the sequence of demands should be changed, saying that it would be much easier to get the resignation of PM if charges of election rigging were proved first.

He said Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri should trust the report of judicial commission.

In response to a question, Khursheed Shah said the commission may take up to two months to complete its investigation.-DNA
