ISLAMABAD: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has decided not to join the civil disobedience movement proposed by Imran Khan.
JI is of the view that the call for civil disobedience has been made by a single political party and is not a decision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government therefore they shall not support its coalition party in any such decision at all.
The JI has also objected to the formation of negotiation teams by the government that include ministers. The objection was conveyed to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan during his meeting with Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq, the sources added.
