LAHORE: Renowned politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi is likely to rejoin Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) next month.
Sources said that Javed Hashmi has completed consultation with his close aides to decide his future line of action. He has been advised to renew his old ties with the PML-N.
He is likely to formally announce his rejoining PML-N sometime in January 2016. He was also expected to be offered key position in the party after rejoining, the sources added.
Senior politician hailing from Southern Punjab quit PML-N after differences emerged with party’s leadership for being ignored and later joined PTI but also left the party expressing dissatisfaction over the policies of the PTI leadership.
