Iran condoles with Pakistan over deadly floods

 

Japan ready to help govt meet challenges

ISLAMABAD (PR) Japan has expressed its condolences over the deaths and damages caused by floods in Pakistan.

In a statement, Press Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan said Tokyo was deeply saddened by the flooding and landslides caused by torrential rain which left many casualties in Pakistan.

He said the government of Japan stands ready to offer necessary assistance to the flood affectees as quickly as possible if a request is received from the government of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Iran has condoled with the Pakistani government and nation over the loss of lives as a result of heavy flooding in the country.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham in a statement also sympathized with the families of victims and voiced Iran’s readiness to dispatch humanitarian aid for flood-stricken regions.
