Islamabad: Minister of State for Information Technology (IT) Shaza Fatima has said that in the first four months of this financial year, IT exports have increased by about 35% to reach 1 billion 206 million dollars.
In a statement, Shaza Fatima said that in the first four months of the current financial year 2024-2025, there has been a record increase of 34.9 percent in the remittances of IT exports.
He said that IT exports from July to October reached 1.206 billion dollars, while IT exports in the same period of last financial year were 894 million dollars.
According to the Minister of State, the export remittance of IT has increased by 330 million dollars in October 2024, compared to the month of October last year, there has been an increase of 38.6 percent.
He said that IT exports in October of the last financial year were 238 million dollars.
