Iranian traders keen to enhance economic & parliamentary ties

ISLAMABAD: Aug 8 (INP): Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Iran and wanted to further cement these relations through enhanced economic and Parliamentary relations. The Deputy Speaker said this while talking to an Iranian Business Community delegation headed by Seyed Reza Dehnad, Ex-Governor of Lorestan Province Republic of Iran, who called on him in the Parliament House on Friday.

The Deputy Speaker said that Pakistan and Iran were tied in the strong bonds of religions, history, culture and traditions and their relations went from strength to strength with the passage of time.

The Deputy Speaker said that both brotherly countries have immense economic potential which can be utilized for the benefits of both the nations.  He said that incumbent Government has introduced investment friendly policies and the Iranian investor can benefit from them.  He stressed the need for regular interaction between the business communities of the both countries to explore the new vistas of economic cooperation between the two countries.  He said that business community of both countries could play a key role to enhance volume of trade between two neighbouring countries and bring them more closer. He appreciated the Iranian support to Pakistan during natural catastrophes.

The Leader of the Iranian delegation Seyed Reza Ehnad, said that Iran gives great importance to its relations with Pakistan and considered it as Brother.  He said that Iranian business community was taking keen interest to take advantage from the vast economic opportunities in Pakistan and wanted to invest in diverse fields.  He agreed with the

Deputy Speaker that the regular interaction between the business communities of the both countries could play an importance role to bring both countries most closer and enhance the business volume of trade.
