Iranian Cultural Counselor discuss bilateral issues with Rector IIUI

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Cultural Counselor to Pakistan Shahab ud Din Darai called on Rector International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr. Masoom Yasinzai at his office on Sunday where both the officials discussed issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, it was discussed that mutual cooperation between IIUI and Iranian educational institutions can help in promotion of education.

Speaking on the occasion Shahab ud Din Darai said that he would provide all possible support for arranging seminars, visits and conferences between Iranian universities and IIUI. He added that exchange of delegation of the faculty members and students should take place which would help in learning from experiences of each other.

Dr. Masoom Yasinzai said that IIUI is not for Pakistani students only but it is for all the students of Muslim Ummah where they are being given quality education integrated with teachings of Islam. He told that in result of mutual cooperation between IIUI and foreign universities many foreign faculty members are teaching at IIUI which also include Egyptian teachers from Al-Azhar University.

He told that IIUI is a visible example of inter-sect harmony where students of all sects discuss the issues in the light of Islam in peaceful milieu while they are being given teaching of moderation and tolerance.
