Iqra University kicked off its club registration bustle for the new students of Fall-2015 here on Tuesday. The four-day long activity provides a platform for the new students to further advance their extracurricular abilities by enlisting in maximum four of the many clubs including Adventure & Sports, Debates, Singing & Dramatics, Eco and Media Sciences.
The activity is a part of University’s determination to encourage its students to fully take part in extracurricular activities. While speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dean Social Sciences, Dr Muhammad Islam stressed the need for students’ active engagement in non academic activities as well. He said that club membership helped not only in acclimatizing the new students to the new campus life, but also in acquiring awareness of the responsibilities and challenges posed to the modern graduates.
