ISALAHABAD : During the first nine months of the previous fiscal year, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) injected eight operating wells that produced 3,677 MMCF of gas and 305,804 BBL of crude oil into its production gathering system.
The injected wells include Tando Alam-21, Sial-1, Pasakhi-12, Mangrio-2, Togh Bala2, Gundunwari-1, Pandhi-1, and Siab-1, which together produced gross crude oil and gas at rates of 305,804 barrels and 3,677 MMcf, respectively.Additionally, during the period under review, the business produced four hydrocarbon discoveries, with a projected total daily yield production of 39 MMCF gas and 2,850 BBL of oil.
The finds include Jandran West-1 in district Kohlu, Balochistan province, and Wali-1 (Kawagarh), Wali-1 (Hangu), and Wali-1 (Lockhart) in district FR Lakki, KP province.

To stop natural decline and maintain production from older wells, the OGDCL also completed 70 work-over jobs, including 12 with rigs and 58 rig-less.In order to improve the present well flow parameters, it also finished pressure build-up survey jobs at numerous wells of producing fields, including Mela, Pashki, Nashpa, Qadirpur, Maru-Reti, Uch, and Kunnar.
The OGDCL provided roughly 48, 30, and 38 percent, respectively, of the nation’s total oil, natural gas, and LPG output.
The company’s current average net oil and gas production was 36,173 BBL and 828 MMCF, respectively, compared to 36,836 BBL and 865 MMCF in the same period last year.
